Responsibilities

PeopleTec is seeking an Inventory Specialist for an opportunity to support our Huntsville, AL  government site location. 

 

Under limited direction, provide support for the Inventory Team for Control Systems as part of the Focal Team.

 

Qualifications

 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Utilizing site maps, architecture documentation, and site assessments, documents business and production processes to prepare workflow process documents.
  • Workflow process documents require dependency identification.
  • Analysis of mission assessments to assist identification of key assets, critical infrastructure, and systems.
  • Assist with prioritization of key assets to assist with resourcing and protection of assets.
  • Perform on-site inventories (physical and logical), assessments, and validation audits. Ability to create templates for others to conduct inventory tasks.
  • Performs research and analyses at all levels of site and system products to include concept design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal. 
  • Provide technical analysis of IT and OT systems for identification, assessment, and documentation of current and future systems.
  • Develops technical and operational views, reports, and summaries to provide leadership with a continuous, accurate, situational understanding and impact to mission and operational risk.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain Excel files to document, sort, and present reports for multiple audience requirements.
  • Prepare detailed workflow process diagram in Microsoft Visio or similar Army provided application.
  • Develop and maintain Common Operating Picture/Dashboards to support AMC Leadership decision making efforts.
  • Assist other teams with related efforts as requested.
  • Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and Microsoft Teams skills
  • Knowledge of NIST Special Publications 800 series
  • Familiarity with United Facilities Guide Specifications
  • Experience performing network discovery scans
  • Ability to travel (10-15%)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • US Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
  • Travel: 15 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of military orders pertaining to inventorying control systems
  • Familiarity with the Perdue Model Architecture
  • Experience with IT/OT in an operational environment
  • DoD military experience

  • Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) 
  • Programmable logic controller (PLC)

  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control System
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Environmental Monitoring Systems
  • Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Control Systems
  • Utility Control System (UCS)
  • Industrial Control System
