PeopleTec is currently seeking a Project Control Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. What You'll Do:

As a Project Control Analyst, you will be a pivotal force in ensuring the financial health and operational success of key defense projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Deliver Financial Excellence

  • Prepare detailed internal and external financial reports, including Annual Operating Plans, EACs/ETCs, and CFSRs, to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure accuracy, proper charging practices, and compliance with DoD standards.
  • Monitor subcontractor costs, review and approve invoices, and compile precise customer invoice backup documentation.

Drive Budgeting and Analysis

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets that align with contract goals and funding requirements.
  • Perform financial analysis, including funding profiles, revenue forecasting, and variance analysis, transforming raw data into strategic insights.
  • Partner with program teams to identify and mitigate financial risks through predictive analysis.

Support Comprehensive Project Execution

  • Manage purchase requisitions, track expenditures, and oversee cost-to-completion metrics, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—contracts, subcontracts, pricing, and corporate leadership—to ensure seamless financial and operational integration.
  • Interface with external customers to present data, address financial inquiries, and provide solutions to complex challenges.

Optimize Processes for Success

  • Implement tools and procedures to streamline reporting, improve accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve financial processes and maximize program value.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in a related field 
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office skills
  • JAMIS accounting system experience 
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in data tracking and researching
  • Ability to work productively under minimal supervision and follow instructions (oral and written)
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain effective work relationships with all those contacted in the course of performing required duties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and proprietary information
  • Other duties as assigned by the company CFO and management

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

 Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university is required (Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
