Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking an Avenger Technician to support our Grand Forks, ND location.

 

Duties:

  • Provide Avenger Weapon System and M3P Machine Gun support by performing unit level support on a part time part time basis for 1-188th North Dakota Army National Guard (NDARNG).
  • As a support technician, be prepared to travel to unit battery locations throughout North Dakota and support soldiers with over the shoulder troubleshooting, maintenance and training.
  • Support soldiers during Annual Training, Stinger Missile and M3P Ranges, Exercise American Shield (EAS), and Culminating Training Event (CTE).
  • Refurbish and repair support equipment that is used to test and evaluate the weapon systems at unit level.
  • Diagnose and repair class 9 items such as handheld computers, Control Data Terminals (CDTs) and develop new troubleshooting pin charts to assist the soldiers with quick diagnostics data to use in a combat environment.
  • Perform all semi-annual services on all 36 AWS, Captive Flight Trainers (CFTs) and Tracking Head Trainers (THTs).
  • Provide feedback to the unit's chain of command on operational readiness.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Travel: 30 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Junior - At a minimum should have three (3) or more years of Avenger Technician experience and a high school diploma or GED. Experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described in the above stated requirements.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Able to travel / TDY.

Desired Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Avenger Weapon System and associated equipment. Possess 94M and 94T certification.
